＊睽違20年「火戰車」之奧斯卡配樂大師最新創作希臘Live演出＊世界級兩大女高音「潔西諾曼」與「凱薩琳芭扥」擔綱演出Composed by Vangelis, Mythodea ?Music For The NASA Mission: 2001 Mars Odyssey features world-renowned sopranos Kathleen Battle and Jessye Norman, a 120 member chorus, members of the London Metropolitan Orchestra, twenty timpanists, harpists and Vangelis performing on electronic keyboards. Mythodea was staged for television in a spectacular live concert event on June 28, 2001, in the ancient open-air setting of the Temple of Zeus in Athens and was broadcast nationally on Public Television during December pledge. PBS broadcasts will continue on through March, June and August pledge period. Inspired by mythological sources, the work was chosen as the theme music for the NASA Mission: 2001 Mars Odyssey.
